Dainty Small Oval Necklace - Fine Silver Memorial Necklace
No matter how long you have to prepare, it's never easy to say your final goodbyes to those you love most, whether they are a friend, family member, or beloved pet.
While you wish you could have just a little more time with them, you can take comfort in the fact that they are never truly gone from your heart. Feel the reassurance of keeping a little piece of them close to your heart with this dainty oval cremation glass necklace.
This artisan jewelry fuses cremation ashes with glass to create gorgeous memorial jewelry that allows you to keep a part of your loved one with you at all times. This handmade cremation jewelry comes in several colors to choose from or request your own color combination.
This dainty oval fine silver memorial necklace is perfect for those who like jewelry that can be layered or the barely there look. Your loved one's cremation ashes can be included in the glass to keep them near you wherever you go.
Colors:
The example shown is in the color option "ocean blue" - a combination of different shades of blue glass that remind me of the ocean. The back side has a heart shaped window to the glass that lets light shine through it. See the color examples photo for color selection reference. Message me for custom color requests.
Size:
This tiny oval pendant is approximately 3/4 inches tall (20 mm) including the bail, and 1/2 inches (11 mm) wide. The pendant is approximately 1/4" in depth at the glass cabochon (see side view photo). This pendant comes on a 18 inch sterling silver chain.
Personalize:
The back can be engraved with a personalized name up to 3 letters since it's tiny (please contact me if you need more letters and I might be able to make it work).
See the More Details Tab for additional information about ashes, timing, and more.
Timing:
This glass cremation jewelry is handmade to order and no two are exactly alike. The estimated turnaround time is three weeks (starting from the time ashes are received if you would like to include ashes). Every piece is created one at a time with special care for your loved ones. Handmade in the USA.
Ashes:
A small amount of your loved one's cremation ashes can be included into the custom glass "stone" to keep them near you wherever you go. The appearance of cremation ashes in glass is like a white powder.
Glow-in-the-dark powder can be added in addition to ashes or in place of ashes if you would like. This design can also be made without ashes or glow-in-the-dark powder. Read more about Memorial Jewelry here.
Sending Ashes:
Only a tiny amount of ashes is required (approximately 1/4 teaspoon of fine ash). Please send the ashes in a small sealed container or double bagged in ziploc bags so they stay intact. A kit including a small container is available upon request after purchase. Please also include a copy of the purchase order with the ashes.
Silver Type:
In general, pendants are made with fine silver and rings are made with sterling silver (for added strength).
The glass cremation pendants listed as Fine Silver is made from fine silver (includes only silver-no other metals or alloys as possible allergens).
The cremation rings listed as sterling silver include a small amount of copper in the silver to strengthen it. There are no other metals included (I’m sensitive to nickel and some other base metals so I won’t work with them).
If you are sensitive to copper, your ring can be made with pure fine silver instead of sterling silver upon request for no additional cost. Just message me with your order number. I have several rings that I’ve made myself in fine silver that I've worn for years without any durability problems.
Finish:
Most pieces can be finished with a patina to give them a vintage aged look and to enhance the details of their design. They are also available as polished shiny silver finish without an aged patina look (see dropdown options for the individual item).
Shipping:
Free shipping to US addresses via insured First Class mail. Please see shipping policies for international orders and estimated costs.
